Nearly 800 members of the public visited the headquarters of the Czech News Agency on its Open Day today. The news agency was opened to the public for the second time only in its more than 100-year history. Members of the agency management presented history and current operations of ČTK to the visitors.
People could see historical news gathering technology and archival materials, visit te newsroom, take a picture in the photo studio and get acquainted with the news gathering procedures, principles and rules of the agency.
Throughout November, in the center of Prague, Na Příkopě Street, people can also see an exhibition of photographs entitled The Moments of the Velvet Revolution, which ČTK created from its photographic collections and photographs from the public.
