CTK sold its 50-percent stake in the Newton Information Technology to Newton Holding, a co-owner who held 25 % stake in the company. Newton Information Technology focuses on media monitoring and analysis. It is active in the Czech Republic and Slovakia and has a subsidiary in Poland. Newton IT was set up in 1995 and CTK was its 50-percent shareholder since 1997.

The agency decided to sell its stake beacuse of Newton's IT complicated ownership structure and due to lack of prospects to gain majority in the company.
