The Czech News Agency’s Photobank is a traditional producer and provider of photography and it has been active in both the domestic and international markets since 1918. Throughout the period of its existence, a representative and timeless collection of photographs has been established thanks to the agency’s own production and that of partner agencies.

At the end of the 1990s, the first photographs were made accessible to clients and the public via the internet for the first time. At present there are over a million photographs online and several million more are available in extensive archive databases. Work is continuing on the ongoing digitalisation process. VÍCE INFORMACÍ

The Czech News Agency’s Photobank has developed into a reservoir of domestic and international photography of various types and genres for a wide spectrum of uses in accordance with the needs of our media clients, publishing houses, commercial companies and private individuals.
